Refugee programs, adult education (ESL, CNA, etc.), financial counseling & coaching, drivers’ education, employment services, housing programs, community navigation, mental & behavioral health, etc.
Mission:
Houston Arts Alliance (HAA) is a local arts and culture organization whose principal work is to implement the City of Houston’s vision, values, and goals for its arts grantmaking and civic art investments. HAA’s work is conducted through contracts with the City of Houston, overseen by the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs. HAA also executes privately funded special projects to meet the needs of the arts community, such as disaster preparation, research on the state of the arts in Houston, and temporary public art projects that energize neighborhoods.
In short, HAA helps artists and nonprofits be bold, productive, and strong.

Disaster Services is focused on providing support during a disaster and before s disaster, this includes connecting the arts and cultural community to the emergency management and disaster communities during blue skies.
Mission:
To enable Black people and other marginalized communities to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power, and civil rights.

Since 1973, HAUL has worked tirelessly to deliver communities with the necessary housing resources to ensure individuals are protected from experiencing homelessness. We also work to provide the proper counsel to individuals searching for affordable rental housing, homeownership and protect consumers with sound recommendations regarding housing matters through professional guidance.
As an Approved Housing Counseling Agency by US Department of Housing and Community Development (HUD), HAUL provides the following housing services: Education – Fair Housing Workshops, Pre-Purchase Workshops, Financial, Budgeting and Credit Workshops, Non-Delinquency Post Purchase Workshops, Resolving/Preventing Mortgage Delinquency Workshops
Counseling – Financial Management/Budget Counseling, Pre-Purchase, Rental Housing, Mortgage Delinquency and Default Resolution and Services for Homeless Counseling
