Executive Committee

The TGCRVOAD Bylaws establish an Executive Committee of four to nine members consisting of the officers of the TGCRVOAD and up to two members at large elected by the Executive Committee.
The bylaws charge the Executive Committee with the responsibility to manage its business affairs, set dues, manage its business affairs; set dues; determine category of eligibility of the candidate’s organization using the TGCRVOAD bylaws; approve members and partners (awk. Membership AND Executive Committee); vote to terminate a membership; act as a board and may adopt such rules and regulations for the conduct of their meetings and the management of the TGCRVOAD as they may deem proper; act for the TGCRVOAD between general meetings within the adopted guidelines; appoint EC committee at-large positions; appoint a member to fill vacancies in officer positions (except chair); vote to remove officers; and approve Committee and Workgroup chairs.
Steering Committee

The TGCRVOAD membership established the Steering Committee to assist the Executive Committee in preparing programs for the TGCRVOAD, advising the Executive Committee, and performing other tasks assigned by the Chair and not explicitly delegated to the Executive Committee by the Bylaws.
The Steering Committee consists of the members of the Executive Committee and the Chairs of the Workgroups. It also includes at-large member representative(s), and at-large partner representative(s) selected and serving at the discretion of the Executive Committee. Partner representative(s) shall participate in the Steering Committee as non-voting members. The Chair of the TGCRVOAD will chair the Steering Committee.
Membership Engagement (Standing)

The Membership Committee Chair shall: identify potential committee members and encourage applications for committee membership; work with the Chair to replace committee members as appointments end; maintain regular communication with committee members; identify, organize, and facilitate committee tasks; facilitate and encourage the submission of relevant articles in order to promote and maintain organization membership; solicit ideas and suggestions for the purpose of increasing membership and providing more and better services to TGCRVOAD members; ensure the continuity of membership in the organization through the performance of tasks related to the maintenance and growth of the membership; work with the Secretary to maintain and update the organization’s membership records; and work with the EC to disseminate materials and recruit new members.
Education and Training Committee (Standing)

The Education and Training Committee Chair shall: develop and gain approval for at least one TGCRVOAD sponsored short course during each calendar year; Undertake one-time educational activities at the direction of the Executive Committee; ensure that all committee activities are congruent with the TGCRVOAD’s vision, purpose, strategy, and principles; participate in planning by contributing ideas via written correspondence or attending planning meetings; and contribute articles to the newsletter.
Communications Committee (Standing)

The Communications Committee Chair shall: prepare notices and reminders of key sponsored events and notices; solicit contributions for articles from other members, particularly the Chair and other EC members; coordinate the content of communications so that information is disseminated in a timely manner; Send the electronic version of communications to the webmaster for inclusion in the TGCRVOAD web page; maintain the TGCRVOAD website and brochure, with general information on the TGCRVOAD; make copies for distribution at meetings.
Individual, Family, and Community Resources Committee (Standing)

Responsible for the Membership directory, resources by county, and gap analysis. Assure participation in the TGCRVOAD Membership Directory. Develop lists of resources and services by county Analyze the gap between resources and services provided by TGCRVOAD Members and Partners and the needs of the communities we may serve during a response.
Operational Collaboration Committee (Standing)
