TGCRVOAD General Meeting
The November TGCRVOAD General Meeting will be a hybrid meeting on November 4th, held at the United Way of Greater Houston and online.
Please join us on Wednesday, November 4th, 9:30 – 11:30 AM, in person at the United Way of Greater Houston (Mabee Room) or via Zoom by registering at the link. We will be accepting nominations for the positions of Vice Chair and Treasurer. Each position is a two-year commitment.
Duties of the Vice Chair:

The Vice Chair shall preside at meetings of TGCRVOAD and the Executive Committee in the absence of the Chair.

The Vice Chair shall assume the Chair’s office if the Chair cannot complete their term.

The Vice-Chair shall also perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Committee.
Duties of the Treasurer:

The Treasurer shall have charge and custody of and be responsible for all funds of TGCRVOAD.

The Treasurer shall receive and give notice and receipts for moneys due and payable to TGCRVOAD from any source.

The Treasurer shall deposit all such monies in the name of TGCRVOAD in such banks, trust companies, or other depositories as shall be selected and in accordance with these Bylaws or as otherwise required.

The Treasurer shall prepare the budget, present the financial report at the general meetings, file the necessary IRS and State of Texas forms, and maintain the financial records of TGCRVOAD.

The Treasurer shall, in general, perform all of the duties incident to the office of Treasurer and perform such other duties as may be assigned to them by the Executive Committee from time to time.
